Knicks fans invaded TD Garden Arena, and this Celtics employee couldn’t take the heat.
In a wild postgame scene that saw Knicks fans going wild in Boston, one employee was seen desperately trying to get fans removed from their seats as they were taking a video of her and celebrating the hard-fought 91-90 win to go ahead 2-0 in the best-of-seven series.
“Security. Help. Help. Get them out,” the overwhelmed employee yelled as she tripped over herself, falling into seats.
She then yelled for one specific fan’s removal.
“Get this man out now,” she said. “Get this man out right now.”
It appeared the employee told security that a Knicks fan pushed her into the seats, although there did not seem to be any physical contact based on the circulating video.
The security official who arrived did not seem to have the same level of concern regarding the Knicks fans’ celebration inside the Celtics’ home venue, with the raucous group taking videos of the angered employee yelling at them to leave and chanting “Knicks in four.”
Boston Globe columnist, Bill Speros commented on the post on X, saying, “The best way to prevent this is to not blow back-to-back 20-point leads.”
