\nA New Jersey plane passenger made obscene, violent threats against his flight\u2019s pilot and crew \u2014 and even threatened \u201cphysical violence toward a disabled minor\u201d and Jewish passengers, according to officials.<\/p>\n

Luis A. Vaquero, 27, of Passaic County, \u201cbegan threatening and harassing various passengers\u201d soon after his flight took off Sunday from Miami to Newark Liberty International Airport, federal prosecutors said in a statement.<\/p>\n

He then turned on a crew member who refused to serve him booze \u2014 telling her, \u201cYou better watch out, s\u2013t\u2019s gonna happen to you,\u201d the release said.
\nThe flight crew alerted police as soon as the plane landed at Newark.
\nBut hearing the announcement that officers were coming, Vaquero began banging on the cockpit door, screaming, \u201cI need the pilot to come outside!\u201d<\/p>\n

When a flight attendant came to intervene, Vaquero yelled, \u201d I will really break your f\u2014in\u2019 jaw n\u2014a!\u201d prosecutors alleged.<\/p>\n

He also yelled, \u201cI wanna see that f\u2014in\u2019 captain! Come outside you bitchh a\u2013 n\u2014a!\u201d according to the press release.<\/p>\n

Vaquero continued to make violent threats to the captain while six inches from his face \u2014 right up until law enforcement arrived and escorted him off the plane.<\/p>\n

He was charged by complaint in Newark federal court with one count of interference with flight crew members and attendants by assault or intimidation. It carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of $250,000.
\n\u201cThe harrowing flight and other similar incidents onboard airplanes recently are creating tension and fear for fliers and crew members,\u201d Acting Special Agent in Charge Terence G. Reilly said, calling it \u201ca terrifying attack.\u201d<\/p>\n
