ERIKA person who set up VALERIA in her own Salon <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/keEYXBjH7q\">pic.twitter.com\/keEYXBjH7q<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; World Latin Honey (@WorldLatinHoney) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WorldLatinHoney\/status\/1922711475300208691?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 14, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>ZAPOPAN, M\u00e9xico (KABC) &#8212; Valeria M\u00e1rquez, a popular 23-year-old TikToker, was shot and killed Tuesday while livestreaming from her beauty salon in Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Jalisco State Attorney General&#8217;s Office, it happened around 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>A man arrived on a motorcycle at Blossom the Beauty Lounge and fatally shot her, according to authorities.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1rquez, who has nearly 200,000 followers on TikTok, collapsed on camera after she was reportedly shot in the chest and head, according to the video.<\/p>\n<p>Moments later, a woman who was in the salon can be seen picking up her phone and stopping the stream.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s unclear who that woman was.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1rquez was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the suspect fled and remains at large, according to authorities.<\/p>\n<p>The Attorney General&#8217;s Office is investigating the case under the femicide protocol, which is activated when a woman is presumed to have been murdered in a gender-related killing.<\/p>\n<p>No further details were released.
